Buncha is looking for an in-house Operations Recruiter who thrives in a face-paced, high-volume, start-up environment, loves communicating, and wants to match people’s potential with an organization’s needs. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, and managing the full hiring cycle process for the field operations team. Success in the role requires excellent interpersonal communication, and analytical skills to support the strategic people plan for continued start-up growth – you’ll need a blend of technical skills, soft skills, and a team-first mentality!

What We’re Looking for?

  • 2 years of recruiting and/or human resources with prior experience recruiting for roles in high volume operations.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business admin, or related field.
  • Experience and/or understanding the retail or grocery industry is a PLUS!
  • Highly motivated and self-managing with a passion for active listening, communication, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes active listening, empathy, and the ability to articulate job requirements and company culture clearly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with candidates and stakeholders. Must be approachable, personable, and able to handle conversations with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, candidates, and hiring processes simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to analyze recruitment metrics and data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement is increasingly important in modern recruitment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, market conditions, and candidate expectations
  • Technical proficiency navigating recruiting applications and social recruiting channels

What You’ll Be Doing?

  • Consult and collaborate with the VP of Operations and Operations Managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications for the specified position(s), and ensure the Operations team is appropriately staffed for Buncha’s business needs.
  • Source candidates by actively searching for qualified candidates through various channels
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fitness for the role.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, create job descriptions, and establish recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to create a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Represent the company positively to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of candidates and hiring activities using an applicant tracking system (ATS) or other tools.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring laws and company policies, and handle necessary documentation related to hiring processes.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
